For university students

In the E-tanoda program, as a university student, you can take part in supporting the learning and personal development of disadvantaged youth. As a volunteer, you can either directly assist a student’s learning and growth as a mentor or contribute to the program’s professional and community activities as a background supporter. Your participation not only has a positive impact on the lives of the mentee children but also strengthens your own professional and personal development.

What kind of tasks can you expect as a university student?

- Mentoring: You can take on your own mentee — a student with whom you’ll work regularly online to support their learning, boost their self-confidence, and help them achieve their goals.

- Participation in case discussions and training sessions: If you are studying psychology or education, you can join the professional support of case discussions and training sessions held with high school mentors. You’ll help mentors learn how to handle pedagogical or motivational challenges and how to effectively support their mentees.

- Supporting organizational, development, and project tasks: If direct mentoring is not your main interest but you still want to be an active part of the program, you can contribute to organizing and running conferences, professional events, and camps. You can also get involved in developing learning materials or even try your hand at writing project proposals.

What can the program offer you? Beyond volunteer work, E-tanoda provides real professional experience and opportunities for personal growth. Most of our current team members started with us as volunteers, and over the years we have issued numerous recommendation letters for outstanding volunteer work — addressed to universities and future employers alike.

- Professional experience: As a mentor or a background supporter, you’ll gain hands-on experience in how to support, motivate, and develop young people. You’ll have the opportunity to acquire practical skills that we can tailor to your specific field of study and interests. - Communication and personal development: Through mentoring and teamwork, you’ll strengthen a wide range of skills. Whether you mentor students or take part in organizational tasks, you’ll develop empathy, communication, self-efficacy, and confidence — all essential for building your career and succeeding in everyday life. - Social impact: Through your volunteer work, you’ll directly contribute to reducing educational inequalities and bridging social gaps. - Community: You’ll become part of a supportive, young, and dedicated team where knowledge-sharing and collaboration are part of everyday life. - Flexibility: The program operates fully online, making participation easy to combine with your university studies.

Beyond E-tanoda: Through your work with E-tanoda, you support both your own and others’ long-term growth! Here, you truly have the chance to make a real, tangible difference in someone’s life.
