The Program operates on a two-semester system. The schedule for the fall semester is as follows:

SEP-OCT – Recruitment of mentors

Mid to Late OCT – Engagement, preparation, and teaching training for mentors

NOV – JAN – Peer mentoring with online university student support, implementation of planned workshops and meetings

End of JAN – Evaluation, end of the semester

The spring semester is simpler because the ongoing groups continue seamlessly, although new groups also join:

JAN – MAY/JUN – Peer mentoring with online university student support, first training sessions

JAN – JUN – Implementation of planned workshops and meetings

JUN – JUL – Support for group farewells, closure, evaluation

AUG – Annual evaluation and administrative tasks at the organizational level

These activities are complemented by the Foundation's core activities, which from a project management perspective include the following:

- Management coordination

- Ensuring continuous mentoring, tracking and supporting the work of mentors and mentees, professional supervision coordination

- Training volunteers (mentors and university students)

- Educating volunteers (mentors and university students)

- Organizing camps (if the pandemic situation and funding allows)

- Organizing training sessions and other educational activities

- Communication activities (result/quality communication + marketing)

- Impact assessment

- Project implementation for other projects

The main supporter of the project is Yettel Hungary Zrt., which has been providing funding for the program's foundation for six years. The remaining costs are covered by grants and donations. Yettel also provides free internet access to the students participating in the program and has lent some necessary equipment to the Foundation from the start. However, we have found that the implementation and volume of various project activities greatly depend on other funding, and often the quality of the core activities is also reliant on these supports. This is why the additional funding received in recent years is important, including:

- 2022: 15 laptops (EiB), 25 iPads (EON), 55 SIM cards (Yettel), 260 books (HVG Books)

- For the first time in 2022: 1% in VAT in HU!

- 2023: 2 submitted Erasmus KA2 applications, 1 of which was successful. The project successfully started at the end of 2023 - beginning of 2024, focusing on the history of Roma and the friendships between Roma and majority society children using game-based learning methods.

- 2023: Private donations: additional used laptops.

- 2024: We had several project collaborations with Romaversitas.

- 2025: We launched a “Our Common Values” project, a youth study trip project, and at the end of 2025 our second Erasmus project will also start. In addition, in 2025 we received further equipment from EiB to support the project’s growth.

We believe that through our general activities, we respond to several issues:

- School dropouts (even from many years ago),

- The lack of meaningful peer relationships (secondary, local socialization environment),

- The question of inclusion,

- The necessity for changing further education opportunities and future perspectives,

- The financial situation of families who cannot afford a private tutor.

This is why we consider the E-tanoda a unique, innovative, and person-centered mentoring program.
