About us

The Current E-tanoda Team

Lilla Lukács – Coordinator

I’m Lilla Lukács, and since October 2020, I’ve been coordinating the E-mentoring program – which means organizing, managing, and building partnerships (sometimes all at once, sometimes balancing everything as a professional chaos manager). By training, I’m an education science specialist with more than a decade of experience in educational innovation, research, project development, and grant writing. Inclusion and equity are not only my professional focus but also my personal passion. Among my professional milestones are several successful projects and grant proposals, a first-place OTDK award, multiple publications, and ongoing doctoral studies at ELTE Faculty of Education and Psychology (PPK). Before joining E-tanoda, I worked for an association developing educational apps, so ICT-based development is familiar territory for me.

When I’m not working on E-tanoda, I perform fire juggling, aerial hoop, and poi – because life is a circus, and I love being part of it! For creative relaxation, I paint (even porcelain!), and when I have the time, I enjoy MMORPGs (like WoW) and strategy games. Because of food allergies, cooking often feels like a reality show — gluten is my arch-nemesis. My playlists are filled with Scandinavian and Slavic folk and rock music. I love traveling, especially to the North or the Caucasus, and I’m also learning Norwegian – getting pretty good, though the Vikings haven’t recruited me yet. And last but not least, I adore Lui, my dog, my loyal companion in every adventure.

Zsófia Máthé – Project and Administrative Assistant

I’m Zsófia Máthé, project and administrative assistant at the E-mentoring program. Alongside my work, I dedicate a significant amount of time to volunteering, with a focus on improving communication among young people and strengthening empathy. For me, education and motivating youth are not just jobs — they are a true calling, which I complement through creative content creation and storytelling.

Although I initially trained to become a teacher, life led me to explore other professional paths as well. Even back in high school, I discovered my passion for visual storytelling: in 2014, my team and I won the This Human World Human Rights Film Festival organized by the United Nations with our short film “Class C”, for which I was responsible for filming and editing. That experience solidified my commitment to human rights, education, and empowering young people through creativity and learning.

Amina Gulics – Marketing and Professional Associate

I’m Amina Gulics, a psychology student with a long-standing sensitivity to social inequalities. Alongside my university studies, I actively participate in initiatives such as “Teach for Hungary” and E-tanoda, where I support disadvantaged young people in their studies and career orientation. I am also a dedicated member of the Illyés Sándor College for Advanced Studies.

Through my work with E-mentoring, I have gained valuable experience working with refugee and Roma families, as well as in assisting Ukrainian refugees. I view education as one of the most powerful tools for social responsibility, and my goal is to contribute to building a more inclusive and just society.

At E-mentoring, I am primarily responsible for coordinating the organization’s communication activities, which I carry out on a voluntary basis, in addition to my paid work. Through study visits and professional development, I aim to explore inclusive educational methods that can be adapted to the Hungarian context and shared with others.

Laura Lőkös – Permanent Volunteer

I’m Laura Márta Lőkös, 25 years old — currently a short-haired, redheaded, glasses-wearing girl from Budapest. Everything I do somehow connects to children, education, and pedagogy. I’m deeply interested in how society “works” — or sometimes doesn’t — and I believe that meaningful change comes through connection, pedagogy, and play. My background is in the arts: I spent many formative years in folk dance, then choir, and later theatre pedagogy. Because of that, you’ll often find me at exhibitions, film screenings, concerts, or theatre performances. A few personal facts: I’m obsessed with socks, rings, and postcards.

During my university years, I studied Pedagogy (BA) and then Educational Sciences (MA). I’m currently a first-year PhD student at ELTE Faculty of Education and Psychology (PPK), researching social sensitivity and social responsibility. I’m drawn to the world of research, but I’ve always believed that theory and practice only truly complement each other when they go hand in hand.

I feel incredibly grateful to be part of E-mentoring, because this mentoring program embodies everything I consider meaningful and valuable. It’s an honor to contribute to such a remarkable and inspiring organization.

Réka Rézi Balog - Permanent Volunteer

I am a Theatre in Education specialist, a drama teacher, and one of the founders of AztaBanda. I am an eternal creator, player, and connecting soul. In my pedagogical approach, developing 21st-century competencies, experiential learning methods, and a participant-centered perspective play a very important role.

This is also why this team feels close to me, and for years I have been involved in the life of E-mentoring as a volunteer—sometimes more actively, sometimes supporting from a distance. Previously, I edited social media materials and delivered trainings for mentors. Nowadays I mainly join the latter activities, both online and offline, which I really enjoy.

I believe in the power of kindness, acceptance, mutual respect, and partnership, which is why everything the Foundation represents is truly exciting to me. A great team, a great cause, and countless wonderful moments.

Fruzsina Forintos - Permanent Volunteer

My name is Fruzsina Forintos, and I am a 23-year-old master’s student in Psychology at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). I completed my bachelor’s studies in Pécs, where alongside my studies I participated in several volunteer and community programs. Currently, I volunteer at ÉlményTár, the Solution for Safety Foundation, and E-mentoring. I have been involved in mentoring, volunteer trainings, prevention programs, and the organization of professional events. My goal is to acquire psychological knowledge that will allow me to effectively support the work of civil society organizations. In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, listening to music, and having coffee with friends.

Máté Orsós – Permanent Mentor

I’m Máté Orsós, 23 years old. I joined E-mentoring in 2016 as a mentee, and over the years — gaining confidence and experience (thank you, Dunning-Kruger effect) — I became a mentor myself. Back then, I received help in chemistry, and now I want to give back the same kind of support that once helped me succeed.

I graduated in 2021 from the Pollack Mihály Technical School in Pécs, specializing in chemical technology, and since 2022 I’ve been working at the Institute of Medical Chemistry at the University of Szeged, participating in peptide chemistry research. The lab has some really impressive analytical instruments, and the work is so diverse that I often feel like a kid in a playground — curious, inspired, and always learning something new.

Zsófia Dombay – Permanent Volunteer

I’m Zsófia Dombay, a fourth-year special education student. I started volunteering with E-mentoring around the same time I began my university studies. In my first year, I participated in mentoring disadvantaged youth, and later became involved in organizational tasks, training sessions, and recruitment — while occasionally continuing to mentor and support on-site activities as well.

My favorite part of volunteering is definitely taking part in in-person mentor training sessions, as I believe it’s essential for mentors to feel confident when connecting with their mentees, supported by a stable and encouraging background.

Tibor Prievara – Chairman of the Board

For more than two decades, I have been teaching English in various educational institutions — schools, language centers, and universities. I work with both elite high school students and disadvantaged children, and I firmly believe that learning and teaching are dynamic, interactive processes.

It was with this spirit that we founded both E-mentoring and MotiMore — to make learning engaging, meaningful, and accessible to all.

In recognition of my work, I received the SuliNetwork Award in 2013 and became the first recipient of the Digital Pedagogy Ambassador Award in 2015.
