Join us as a volunteer and get a glimpse into the daily life of E-tanoda. Help build a community where shared learning is the greatest value!

In the E-tanoda, high school students from Budapest help disadvantaged peers with their studies through Skype lessons.

In Gilvánfa, Magyarmecske, and Alsószentmárton, students in need receive these calls, which are about more than just studying: participating children get to know each other, understand each other's daily lives, and recognize and accept differences.

We are looking for volunteers who want to support students in this process and oversee learning groups.

Under the guidance of the program coordinator, this involves the following tasks:

- Supporting mentors in planning and conducting learning sessions

- Tracking who is studying when

- Having friendly conversations with mentors

- Participating in case discussions and supervision sessions

In return, we offer:

- Work that can mostly be done from home

- Real community events (introductory camp, site visits, informal programs)

- Continuous professional support in daily tasks

- Research opportunities, OTDK

- If you are interested, you can participate in organizational work (program organization, managing social media platforms, website management, office tasks)

- If you can get it accepted as practice, we are happy to provide certification and write recommendations

To apply, you need:

- To be able to participate in the foundation's work for 2-3 hours per week

- As a new volunteer, to participate in the foundation's training and the introductory camp in Budapest on October 6-7

- To enjoy working with school-aged children

- To value equal learning opportunities for everyone

- Good problem-solving skills

- A lot of patience

Relevant experience is an advantage but not a requirement, as we prepare everyone.
