Superheroes for Equality: Game, Friendship, and Inclusion
Imagine a world where friendship knows no boundaries — where differences are not obstacles but bridges that bring us closer together. The SocialSuperhero project brings this vision to life through a narrative-based educational game that tells a sensitive yet inspiring story about the friendship between Roma and Hungarian children.

About the SocialSuperhero Project
The 21st Century Pedagogy Foundation (E-tanoda), in partnership with Impact Games (Slovakia), is developing an inclusive educational game app that addresses themes of social justice, acceptance, and intercultural dialogue. The game invites players to discover the richness of Roma culture while fostering empathy and social awareness.
SocialSuperhero is E-tanoda’s first self-led Erasmus+ project, within which a short (approximately 25-minute) narrative-based game is being developed on the topic of inclusion and equality. The story follows Jankó and Rolkó, two Roma boys, and Emma, their classmate from the majority community.
The first two chapters of the game are already available on Google Play, giving players a first look into the lives of these three friends as they face prejudice, everyday challenges, and pursue their shared dreams. The game is not only entertaining and educational but also carries a powerful social message — celebrating acceptance, cooperation, and the strength of friendship.

Why Is This Project Important?
SocialSuperhero is much more than a game — it’s a learning experience that helps children and young people understand that differences do not divide us, but connect us. Through its story and gameplay, it explores everyday yet essential topics such as prejudice, social injustice, and the importance of standing together as a community.
One of the project’s greatest strengths is accessibility: the game will be freely available on Google Play and the App Store, so anyone can experience it. SocialSuperhero will be tested in schools in both Hungary and Slovakia, and it will be available in Hungarian, Slovak, and English, ensuring that its message of inclusion and cooperation reaches children, teachers, and families across borders.
Music and Art in the Game
Music plays a key role in SocialSuperhero, shaping the game’s atmosphere with inspiration from Roma cultural traditions and contemporary youth music styles. The project also includes an artistic competition (follow us on Facebook!) inviting young musicians and creators to contribute to the game’s authentic and emotional soundtrack. Selected artists receive a modest honorarium for their contributions.
If you’re passionate about education, social change, or Roma culture, follow the development of SocialSuperhero — and be among the first to try it once it’s released! Together, we can build a more inclusive and just future.
