The E-mentoring community has reached an exciting milestone. Our program has been selected as one of the supported initiatives of the Stronger Roots - Social Base Building call by the NIOK Foundation. This opportunity represents not only financial support for us, but also the beginning of a development journey in which professional mentoring, trainings, and the support of experienced experts will help shape the next phase of E-mentoring.

In the coming months, we will not only be able to strengthen our program, but also the community that keeps E-mentoring alive: mentors, students, partners, and supporters who work together every day to ensure that more young people have a real chance to grow and develop. But what exactly lies ahead?

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Connections - E-mentoring Community-Building Program

Project duration
The program started in January 2026 and will run for 18 months, until June 2027. With the support of the NIOK Foundation, we will be able to lay the foundations for the long-term future of the organization during this period.

Project goal
The aim of the initiative is to strengthen and expand E-mentoring’s social base in order to create a stable and sustainable background for mentoring disadvantaged students. We would like our program to become a widely recognized and supported social cause - one that does not depend solely on individual grants but is supported by the strength of a committed community.

What do we plan to achieve within the program?
In the coming period, we will focus on strengthening and expanding the E-mentoring community. Our mentors and students live in different parts of the country, but the community is united by a shared intention: to build real, personal connections alongside the digital space.

To achieve this, we will organize two large mentor-mentee meetings and six thematic workshops, where participants can not only learn from one another but also share experiences and strengthen their sense of belonging to the community.

It is particularly important for us that families are also part of this process. We will organize five larger events - both online and offline - involving at least 150 parents and family members, helping them connect more closely with the program and become active supporters of their children’s development.

We also aim to make E-mentoring’s work more visible to the wider public. On a monthly basis, we will create online content - posts, short videos, and stories - and launch at least three larger communication campaigns so that more people can learn about the impact of our program.

To ensure long-term sustainability, we will also organize fundraising campaigns aimed at reaching 150-200 new individual donors. Through this, we hope to strengthen the program’s financial stability and independence.

At the same time, we will continue to build our professional partner network by establishing at least 10 new collaborations with schools and civil organizations, enabling us to reach even more students.


A growing community also requires greater organizational capacity. We will involve a new part-time staff member and engage university students in operational tasks so that our programs can be implemented in an even more structured and efficient way.

Finally - and perhaps most importantly - we want to shape the future together. On three occasions, we will bring together mentors, students, and parents for values and vision workshops, where we will collectively reflect on the direction in which the E-mentoring community should develop in the coming years.

With the professional and financial support of the NIOK Foundation, we now have all the tools needed to build an even stronger E-mentoring together. Join us on this journey!
