In-person Mentor Training and Workshop Plan: Conscious, Active Mentor – with a Legal Perspective
This methodological material presents the outline of an experiential mentor training designed for young people participating in the E-tanoda mentor program. The aim of the session is to help mentors be more conscious and confident in their relationships with their mentees while developing their communication, conflict-management, and reflective skills.
During the training, participants explore topics such as equal treatment, discrimination, child protection, and recognizing injustice. The session is built around discussions, creative tasks, and drama-based activities, helping mentors reflect on their role based on their own experiences.
This methodological guide presenting our training is intended for mentors, teachers, and youth workers who would like to run a structured yet flexible training for mentors, peer supporters, or young people.
Please note: this training outline is recommended for groups that are already familiar with each other and are in the middle or towards the end of a mentoring process.
