The Romoji Methodological Guide Is Complete – The SocialSuperhero Project Is Nearing Its Conclusion
Over the summer, the E-tanoda team reached an important milestone: the methodological guide for the Romoji mobile game has been completed (available here on our website under the Download now! section). The guide provides practical support for teachers, mentors, and youth workers on how to use the game effectively in classroom and community settings.
Romoji is the first educational mobile game featuring Roma children as main characters, conveying the message of social inclusion through the values of friendship, acceptance, and cooperation. The guide offers specific pedagogical ideas, lesson plans, and reflective activities to help educators integrate the game into their teaching practice.

In addition, the Erasmus+ project “SocialSuperhero: game-based learning and storytelling for inclusion, social justice, and cross-cultural communication” is now entering its final phase. The project’s closing was marked by an inspiring professional conference held on August 28, 2025, at ELTE Faculty of Education and Psychology (PPK).
The event concluded successfully yesterday, bringing together teachers, researchers, civil organizations, and educational professionals to share insights on game-based learning and social awareness. The program featured interactive workshops, presentations, and game demonstrations, including:
- Lilla Lukács presented the development of Romoji and E-tanoda’s work in digital inclusion;
- Participants explored the Vox Pop debate game, new directions in board game pedagogy, and the educational potential of transformative (LARP) games;
- In the afternoon, digital and tabletop games took center stage – including Romoji itself.
According to participant feedback, the conference served as an inspiring professional forum, offering new perspectives and practical tools for advancing 21st-century learning and social inclusion.

The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union (Project code: 2023-1-HU01-KA210-YOU-000165000).
